Hematology Laboratory

In this laboratory, hematology, hormone, immunohematology and biochemistry tests are performed for students of the field of paramedical laboratory sciences. Laboratory classes, which are held with a capacity of 15-20 people, are conducted under the supervision of the relevant instructor and laboratory expert.

Blood cell count: WBC-RBC and PLt and differential diagnosis
Performing PT and PTT coagulation tests, fibrinogen-BT-CT and TT
Reviewing educational slides of blood disorders and diseases
Performing reticulocyte, A1C and HbA2 tests
Electrophoresis of Hb and DNA
Extracting DNA from bacteria and blood
Performing hormone tests using the ELISA method
Performing buccal smear tests
Performing immunohematology tests:
Antisera titration
Performing cell type and back type tests
Determining RH and Du
Direct Coombs
Indirect Coombs
Performing panel tests: mini panel and complete panel
Determining blood group from saliva
