Vision, Mission and Goals of the Department of Occupational Health Engineering
Vision
The Occupational Health and Safety Engineering Group aims to become one of the scientific hubs in the country's 6th planning region in the next five years with committed experts in this field, so that in addition to meeting the needs of the province, it will play a fundamental role in promoting occupational health and safety knowledge at the national level by utilizing the latest approaches as one of the scientific hubs.
Mission
The Occupational Health and Safety Engineering Department of Arak University of Medical Sciences, with its capable faculty and appropriate laboratory facilities and equipment, has the following missions:
• Training capable and committed experts in accordance with national and international standards in order to meet the needs of industry and society
• Conducting applied research in the field of issues related to occupational health and safety, especially in the chemical, metal and hospital industries
• Moving towards the scientific authority of Arak University of Medical Sciences
Goals of the Department
• Improving the quality of the educational program and internship program for students
• Obtaining a license to establish an HSE major at the master's level
• Developing the educational and research infrastructure of the department
• Developing scientific cooperation with other academic disciplines
