History of the Faculty
The Faculty of Public Health was established in 2010 with the separation of associate degrees in health and disease control, family health, environmental health and occupational health from the Faculty of Paramedical Sciences and started its activities independently and from the second semester of the academic year 2010-2011, the fields of health and disease control and family health at the associate level became a continuous bachelor's degree in public health, and at the same time in the same semester of master's degree in health education and health promotion, a discontinuous bachelor's degree Public health and a continuous bachelor's degree in occupational health were also added to the other disciplines of this faculty.
Currently, the School of Public Health accepts students in the fields of Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Occupational Health Engineering and Occupational Safety in two continuous and discontinuous levels, Bachelor of Nutrition Sciences, Bachelor of Environmental Health Engineering, and Master's degree in Health Education and Health Promotion, Environmental Health Engineering and HSE.
The faculty members of the faculty are engaged in the fields of environmental health, occupational health engineering and occupational safety, nutritional sciences, epidemiological statistics, health services management, health education and health promotion.
Currently, the School of Public Health has 24 faculty members in the fields of Environmental Health Engineering, Occupational Health Engineering and Occupational Safety, Nutrition, Epidemiology, Health Services Management, Health Education and Health Promotion.
