The most important educational regulations for the discontinuous master's degree program

Credits
Article 7) The total number of credits of the master's course, including the thesis, is at least 28 and maximum 32 credits.
Article 8) The number of credits of the master's thesis for all disciplines is between 4 and 10 credits.
Article 9) The master's student is allowed to choose between 8 and 14 credits in each semester.
Chapter 4
Attendance and Absence
: Article 10) The student's attendance in all programs is mandatory, the student's absence in each theoretical course should not exceed 4.17, practical and laboratory from 2.17, and workshop, internship and internship from 1/10 of the total hours of that course. Otherwise, the student's grade in that course will be considered zero.
Article 11) Unexcused absence in the exam of any course will result in obtaining a zero grade for that course.

The fifth chapter of
the
evaluation of Article 12) The minimum passing score in each compulsory and optional special course is 14 out of 20 and for deficiency and compensatory courses is 12 out of 20. If the student's grade is less than this value, he must repeat the lesson.
Article 13) The average grades of the student's courses in the master's program in each semester should not be less than 14.
Note 1- If the average grades of the student in the two semesters is less than 14, that student will be deprived of continuing his education.
Chapter 6:
The duration of
Article 14 is the maximum permissible period of study in a non-continuous master's degree program of 3 years.
If the student fails to successfully complete the course and completes and defends his thesis during this period, he will be deprived of continuing his education.
Article 15) If the student drops out of school even for one semester without obtaining the consent of the institution, he will be deprived of continuing his education.
Article 16) The student can use the academic leave for a maximum of one semester.
Note 2- The period of leave is considered as one of the academic years of the student.
Article 17) A student who wishes to withdraw must submit his/her withdrawal request in writing to the faculty, and this student is allowed to withdraw his/her withdrawal request only for one time up to a maximum of one month before the end of the same academic semester, and that semester is considered as part of his/her permitted period of study and academic leave is issued for that semester. After the expiry of this period, a decision will be issued to withdraw from his studies and after that, he will not have the right to continue his studies in that field.
Chapter 7 of
the
thesis Article 19) Dissertation preparation is a part of the master's program during which the student is obliged to conduct research and follow up in a field related to his/her field of study under the supervision of the supervisor.
Article 20) The student is obliged to choose the topic of his/her thesis with the opinion of the supervisor after the end of the first semester and before the start of the third semester and submit it to the approval of the Graduate Council of the Faculty.
Article 21) The supervisor is appointed from among the faculty members of the university with the suggestion of the student and the agreement of the professor and the approval of the graduate council of the university.
Article 23) On the recommendation of the supervisor and the approval of the Graduate Council of the Faculty, one or two faculty members or prominent experts and researchers, related to the subject of the thesis, can be appointed as advisors.
Article 25) At the end of the defense session, the jury will grade the thesis with an emphasis on the grade as follows:

from 17 to 18.49 Very good
from 15.5 to 16.99 Good
from 14 to 15.49 Acceptable
from 14 to 14 less unacceptable
Note 2- Obtaining a higher degree is provided that the student is the author of an article on the topic of the thesis in reputable foreign scientific research journals or a domestic indexed group based on the classification of the research and technology deputy of the ministry of the ministry.
Article 26) The student after choosing the thesis until he has completed it. He is obliged to register for it in the following semesters according to the academic calendar. In this case, the thesis score in the last semester will be entered into the student's report card and will be considered in the average of the semester and the average of his/her total grades.
Article 27) If the thesis is deemed unacceptable by the jury, the student can complete his/her thesis in a period that does not exceed the maximum permissible period of his/her study and defend it again at the time determined by the jury. A student who fails to successfully defend his/her thesis within the maximum permissible period of study will be deprived of education and will not be able toIt doesn't work.
Chapter 8 of
the other provisions
of Article 28) Transfer, change of major, and transfer in the discontinuous master's degree program is prohibited.
Article 29) If it is not possible to offer some courses in a field and at a certain time in the university of origin, the student can take those courses as a guest with the agreement of the supervisor and the relevant educational department and the approval of the graduate council of the university in another university or faculty that is the administrator of the course, in this case, obtaining the approval of the destination university is necessary and the number of courses of the guest student in a university should not exceed half Educational units are overwhelmed.
Chapter 9:
Graduation
Article 31) The average of the student's total grades at the end of the course should not be less than 14, otherwise he will be deprived of receiving a master's degree.
Note: A student whose total average is less than 14 after passing all the credits of the course and passing the thesis, can repeat up to 14 credits of the compulsory special courses in which he has obtained a score of less than 14 in one semester only, and if he compensates for the lack of the total average, he will graduate. A student who is unable to take advantage of this opportunity for any reason or does not compensate for his total average despite using this opportunity, will be deprived of continuing his education and will not receive a degree.
