Job Description

• Preparing the executive plan of educational, research and service tasks provided by the department based on the policy of the Graduate Council of the Faculty in consultation with the members of the department before the start of the academic semester and announcing it to the vice chancellor for education and research of the faculty
• Communicating the executive programs of the educational, research and service duties of each member of the group
• Supervising all educational and research activities and group services
• Preparing the lesson schedule for each semester in cooperation with the members of the department
• Continuous revision of the programs according to the latest developments, changes and developments and submission of these plans to the relevant authorities.
• Organizing and managing the meetings of the department council and sending the report of the work, approvals, suggestions and collective opinions of the department to the dean of the faculty for executive coordination or going through the legal procedures and communicating the circulars, regulations and approvals sent by the dean of the faculty.
• Suggesting the financial needs of the department to the dean of the faculty
• Carrying out all the official correspondence of the department and proposing the procurement of supplies, books, and publications required by the department to the dean of the faculty
• Suggesting research projects that the department is ready to carry out directly or in cooperation with other departments to the vice chancellor for research of the faculty
• Evaluation of the annual work of the members of the group and commenting on the vertical and horizontal promotion of the members of the group
• Supervising the proper implementation of the students' education and research program in accordance with the regulations
• Holding a meeting to determine the titles of theses, defending the proposals of master's students and appointing referees for the defense session of the graduate students of the department
• Review and comment on transfer students, guests, academic failure......... In consultation with the members of the group
• Expressing an opinion on the need for human resources (department expert, required faculty member) in consultation with the members of the department
